Thank you for using Listen & Learn English ("App", "We", "Us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your information when you use the App.

1Information We Collect

Since the App does not require account registration, we do NOT collect any directly identifiable personal information (such as name, email address, or phone number). Your learning data (progress, completed lessons) is primarily stored locally on your device.

However, the App integrates certain third-party services that may automatically collect the following information:

  • Analytics and Usage Data (Firebase Analytics): Your device automatically shares certain usage-related information (screens viewed, study duration, number of interactions), as well as general device information (Android/iOS operating system version, screen resolution, language settings, approximate region/country based on IP address).
  • Crash and Performance Data (Firebase Crashlytics): If the app encounters an issue and crashes unexpectedly, the system will automatically generate a crash report (crash log). This report includes technical details at the time of the crash (available RAM, device state at crash) to help developers identify and fix bugs.
  • Advertising Data (Google AdMob): To maintain free access, the App may display advertisements. Google's advertising partners may automatically collect your device's Advertising Identifier (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA) and IP address for the purpose of limiting ad frequency and delivering relevant advertisements.

2In-App Purchases

The App offers premium features (Premium plan) through the default purchasing system of Apple App Store or Google Play. We only receive a "transaction receipt" (receipt/token) to unlock Premium content for you. All actual payment information (bank accounts, credit card numbers, digital wallets) is managed entirely and securely by Google and Apple. We cannot see and do not store any of this information.

3How We Use Information

The automatically collected information is used by us for the following core purposes:

  • To assess which features are popular and useful in order to continue improving the App.
  • To fix bugs as quickly as possible if the app freezes or crashes on your device.
  • To serve advertisements (if applicable) through advertising partners to sustain the cost of app development.

4Sharing Your Information

We are committed to never selling your information to third parties. Data is only transmitted to and analyzed by the tools of our trusted infrastructure partners mentioned above (Google Cloud, Firebase, AdMob/Google Ads). All of these partners adhere to strict global security standards.

5Your Rights and Data Management

Learning Data & Settings: Since your data is primarily stored on your device, you can erase all learning data by "Clearing App Data" (Clear Data) or uninstalling the App (Uninstall).
Personalized Advertising: You have full control over whether you want to be tracked by advertising identification networks by disabling "Personalized Ads" in the Privacy Settings of your iOS or Android operating system.
Reminder System: You have the right to grant or fully revoke notification permissions (Push Notifications / Reminders) at any time within the App's reminder settings.
